Childish Gambino - Bonfire

My Personal Favorite from CAMP by Childish Gambino a.k.a. mcDJ a.k.a. Troy from Community a.k.a. Donald Glover the comedian/former writer for 30 rock who has a Comedy Central special premiering November 20th. Dude seems to have his hands in everything, Freeks and Geeks has been another one of my favorites for awhile.

Childish Gambino feat. SD - Who Dat (Part 2)

Never heard of SD but Childish Gambino kills this classic J. Cole classic. Although im not sure if anyone can ever top J. Cole on his own track. Cole re spits his verse on this one too.

Childish Gambino - Culdesac (Album)

Despite the fact that this album came out over a year ago, I think it still needs posting. I might say that Gambino is one of the most underrated rappers in the game today. Why? He rarely gets much publicity for his rapping, as it is often overshadowed by his career in television. This is just one of 6 free studio albums released by Glover with a 7th on the way (Camp is expected to be released this September). His beats are just alright but his lyrics are unbelievable. He does an amazing job of rapping about his real life, as well as being clever and witty all the while. And the man is just plain funny.

Here's an interview that really gives you a good impression of who Donald Glover really is as well:

Childish Gambino - Rolling in the Deep (Remix)

Here's a little bit of an older song. It's about 6 months old but it's just too good not to post. Get ready for me to post a lot of this guy in the near future, cuz I've been bumpin him non-stop lately. Every time I listen to his stuff, I hear something new that I missed the last time. He's funny without even knowing it. My favorite thing about him is that he's real. He raps about himself and what he does and that's it, plain and simple. Give him a listen and I'm sure you'll enjoy. I know the radio murdered this original song, so if you wanna skip ahead to the good stuff, Gambino jumps in at about 2:40

Childish Gambino - It's On

Some more Childish Gambino for ya. He's on Wiz' Real Estate track (or T.I.'s Poppin Bottles, no one will ever know). He's obviously no Wiz, but he puts together some great flow, clever lyrics and he's got some comedy to him (as seen in the hit TV show Community where he plays Troy under his real name, Donald Glover). Enjoy

Childish Gambino - Freaks and Geeks

Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino might be better known for his role as Troy from Community but he certainly knows how to throw it down on the beat too. You can definitely see his comedy in his raps as well

My dick is made of carrots

Bunnies wanting to be fed

And I meant hunnies

Oh forget it
